- Having another set of eyes take an impartial and critical look at your work, will add polish—even when you self edit regularly. Light editing is suggested.
- When English is your second language, intense editing is recommended.
- When grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure are not your strength, intense editing is recommended.
As an editor, how do you verify facts and claims in a project?
- All facts and opinions are the responsibility of the author. e-Edit-my-work does not provide verification services.
- E-Edit-my-work reserves the right to refuse projects that threaten violence and hate which includes bullying and harassment.
- E-Edit-my-work reserves the right to refuse pornographic and other offensive materials.
Are all file formats accepted by e-Edit-my-work?
- E-Edit-my-work accepts only Microsoft Word® files (both .doc and .docx), text files (.txt) and rich text files (.rtf but not .rtfd).
What is the process followed by e-Edit-my-work?
- Determine whether you will need light or intense editing.
- Decide on either 24 or 48 hour turn-around.
- Calculate the cost of the project on the Pricing page.
- Complete and submit the information on the Inquiries page.
- Go to PayPal for payment.
- PayPal notifies e-Edit-my-work of payment.
- 24/48 hour turn-around begins when e-Edit-my-work confirms payment to client.
- Edited file is returned to client.***
*** Edited project: Two copies will be returned.
- Copy #1. Project will be returned with identified edits/changes.
- Copy #2. A cleared copy of edited project is sent.
